ADMISSION TO THE SCHOOL

  Admission to Royale International School of Excellence is open to all from Nursery to class 9th. Admission is granted on the basis of a student's keenness to learn and his social skills. There is entrance test, as instead of assessing a child's content knowledge we wish to assess only his/her proficiency in various subjects like English, Hindi, Maths and Science. The aim of this process is to find out what a child knows and believes in rather than what he does not know.


AGE CRITERIA
For the Academic year 2008-2009, the applicant's age as on 1st June 2008 as recorded in the birth certificate will determine the eligibility for admission to a particular class.

Recommended classes for children born between the following dates,
Nursery 01 / 10 / 2004 to 30 / 09 / 2005
Prep. Junior 01 / 10 / 2003 to 30 / 09 / 2004
Prep. Senior 01 / 10 / 2002 to 30 / 09 / 2003
Class 1 01 / 10 / 2001 to 30 / 09 / 2002

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
  1. The admission application duly filled in all respects should be submitted to the school office along with the required documents within three working days of the purchase of the form.
  2. The application should preferably be filled in by the parents, in capital letters after careful perusal of all the documents provided in the pack.
  3. The documents required are two recent colour passport size photos of the applicant and the original birth certificate (issued by the Municipal Corporation) along with its xerox copy. Birth certificates issued by doctors, nursing homes etc. will not be accepted.
  4. Admit Card will be issued, which will have to be brought at the time of the interaction.
  5. The applicants for classes I onwards will have to present themselves for an interaction session. The exact time and date of the interaction shall be intimated at the time of submission of the application form. Both the parents must be present in the school on the designated day.
  6. List of all the successful candidates will be put up on the notice board of the office and the website, two days after the interaction.
  7. Within seven days of the declaration of admission, parents of all the successful candidates will have to pay the required fees along with required documents i.e. school leaving certificate and previous year's report card for students of class II onwards, medical certificate, original birth certificate (for verification only), recent passport size colour photograph of the candidate and both the parents.
